Subic Bay Freeport — While SBMA Chairman and Administrator Jonathan D. Tan is repossessing erring properties within the freeport, many establishments are now re-opening, after shutting down due to pandemic.
One of the most awaited tourist attraction at the Freeport, Zoobic Safari, roared back to life last October 28,2023, marking a triumphant return to action after the pandemic-induced hiatus.
Zoobic Safari is the only place in the country where you can go on a nighttime adventure to see animals. This allows visitors to delve into the mysteries of the animal kingdom under the cover of night, adding an extra thrill to their adventure.
Meanwhile, the Subic Fiesta Carnival also known as Night Market will reopen inside freeport after five years of closure. Many students and families are looking forward to the reopening of the Carnival. Nicole Bulanadi, an Olongapo resident, shared, “I’m happy and excited because students like me will have a new place to hang out with my friends.” According to a facebook post of Snapshot Serenity, There will be many new rides to look forward upon its reopening.
Tourists are gradually increasing in the freeport as tourist attractions continue to open, providing job opportunities and attracting more visitors.
