Finally a dream come true, again!

As you all know, a group of veteran journalists, honed by time and experience gathered together to give you the latest happening in and around the Freeport.

Our journey won’t be an easy one but we’re willing to face it head-on as we are powered by the desire to uncover the truth and deliver it as courageously as we can.

This column will tackle some ticklish things and sometimes a little tap to awaken the people concerned.

And here it is!

Where does the “escort fee” goI heard, if my bubuyog (bee) is correct, some account officers who handle locators and investors, old and new, own not one, not two, but three cars! Some allegedly own a newly built house!? From what I gathered, every truck that goes out of the Freeport gate will have to pay more or less P2700 per escort vehicle.

A Third Party was contracted by NLEX and SBMA where in they send a copy of their deposit slips payment to an email. No official receipt is being issued.

Imagine, for a minimum of 10 trucks per day, with an escort of only one vehicle, this Third Party collects P27,000!

SBMA Chairman and Administrator Jonathan D. Tan has marching order from President Ferdinand Marcos – to entice businessmen to invest in the Freeport.

Before this could be realized, JDT is now focusing on his “house cleaning”, hoping he can brush away alleged corruption inside the agency.

Maybe he should start looking into the lifestyle of some employees assigned at the Business and Investment Group.

I heard, if my bubuyog (bee) is correct, account officers who handle locators and investors, old and new, own not one, not two, but three cars! Some allegedly own a newly built house!

I say Moderate your greed!
