OLONGAPO CITY – A fire broke out at 21st Street in Barangay East Bajac-bajac here, leaving several structures damaged on Thursday.
According to SF01 Christopher Sotto of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), they immediately responded after receiving a call around 2 a.m.
The blaze was under control at about 4:30 a.m. and officially declared fire out at 4:54 a.m., said Sotto.
Initial investigation from the BFP showed that no one was hurt from the incident but structural damages were evidently observed.
The most affected establishments were SSL 888 Trading Corp, a wholesale and retail store, and Fresh Options. Both establishments suffered severe damage due to the fire.
“Ang sanhi po ng sunog po ay kasalukuyang inaalam pa, so under investigation po itong insidenteng ito,” said Sotto.
