Locals and tourists who are looking for a new place to dine and hang out can find more than what they bargained for at the newly opened Subic Bay Central Food and Trade Park inside the Freeport.

Formally launched on June 9, Central Food Park offers a variety of delectable food and drink options, and a wide range of recreational facilities and fun activities for visitors to enjoy.

The thriving food hub is strategically located between Building 156 and 157 on Bonifacio Street.

At the opening ceremony, Elena Haw, project consultant and representative of Brand Ventures Inc., which operates the food establishment, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the concessionaires for their unwavering support and commitment to Central Food Park.

She also extended her appreciation to the local residents, tourists, and the partnership with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in the park’s success.

“Hopefully, we can have a Subic Bay market here in the freeport,” Haw said in her speech as she also shared her vision of expanding the business.

With an extensive selection of culinary delights, Central Food Park ensures that no tastebud goes unsatisfied.

The menu showcases a wide variety of options, including coffee, steaks, grilled barbecue, pastries, rice bowls, burgers, sausages, and many more.

Wholesome vibe

Haw said the park aims to cater to diverse palates, provide a wholesome vibe and “Instagrammable-worthy” ambience, and become a friendly place for pets, persons with disabilities and pets.

Among the food park’s attractions are live bands, mini entertainment games, and chances to win exciting prizes.

The park also features a children’s playground, basketball court, billiards, shoot the bucket, balloon pop, and tossing ring games.

“Hopefully, with the support of the public here, we will be able to do a year-round operation so that it can always be available,” she said.

The food park is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday, and extended until 11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday, accommodating individuals seeking a late-night culinary adventure.

“Rain or shine, we’ve got you covered,” Haw assured, emphasizing Central Food Park’s commitment to providing exceptional experiences regardless of the weather conditions. JASMINE BUNDALIAN, RALPH MORANO AND ELHANAN PAMESA FREEPORT INSIDER
