SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – A 16-year-old boy who went missing after swimming on a beach in Barangay San Miguel here was found dead around 5 a.m. on Friday, August 11.
Based on the police report, Alexuz Gabriel Evangelista, a resident of nearby Barangay San Nicolas went swimming with companions on Thursday, August 10.
Evangelista and one of his companions, Eugene Lee Ladrilono, 16, were swept away by strong waves that immediately pulled them toward the deep portion of the beach.
Ladrilono managed to swam towards the shoreline and survived but Evangelista went missing.
The next day, Evangelista was found by his father. He was rushed to a nearby rural health unit but pronounced dead on arrival. FREEPORT INSIDER
