HERMOSA, BATAAN –Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chair and Administrator Jonathan Tan spent his birthday on Friday (Aug. 11) with a medical mission at Sitio Pastolan here.
The medical mission, dubbed “Pagamutan ni Tantan,” offered free circumcision, pediatric check-ups, free dental cleaning, as well as the giving of free eyeglasses and medicine to sitio residents.
Nearly 500 patients availed of the free medical clinic.
Some 71 boys ages 8 to 16 were circumcised for free, while nearly a hundred patients were given free reading glasses.
At least 28 patients were given free dental cleaning.
Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton joined Tan in holding the medical mission.
This is the first time in SBMA history that a chairman and administrator celebrated his birthday with the Aeta Ambala.
Tan promised to do the same this coming December and annually. FREEPORT INSIDER
