SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – Authorities are searching for an 18-year-old male tourist who vanished after he was swept away by big waves while swimming at a beach area in Cabangan town on Monday morning (June 12), according to local officials.

Champ del Rosario, head of the Cabangan municipal disaster risk reduction management office, said a search and retrival operation was launched to find Reylie Torre Cellar, who visited the province from Caloocan City.

He was reported missing since 10 a.m. on Monday after he and his friends went to swim to celebrate their win in a basketball tournament.

Del Rosario said they have alerted all coastal areas for the poasible sighting of Cellar.
