Subic Bay Freeport – The Subic Bay Yacht Club held its annual Christmas Tree lighting and brought together officials, residents and tourists alike for the spectacle.

Movie actor Ariel “Aga” Muhlach graced the lightning ceremony for the the tree and the Holiday Harbor-themed Christmas decoration on Thursday evening, October 15.

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Aliño spoke about the new challenges and changes in the Freeport as a carbon-neutral freeport and as a”Green City.” But he also reminded everyone that the meaning of Christmas is to pray for, and share their blessings with, the victims of recent calamities. “(Be) the light in the darkness,” Aliño said.
